Personal Protective Equipment simply called PPE is a collective name for all the safety equipment for personal use. PPE are designed to protect individuals from hazards associated to their jobs. It protects user by totally preventing or minimizing the sustenance of injuries.

There are numerous kinds of PPE worn by people working in different sectors. These people may include; construction engineers, health workers, force men, firefighters, transporters, security officers, environmental workers and many more.

The PPE can be subdivided into the following:
