PRECAUTIONARY SAFETY TIPS FOR BOMB BLASTS

After recent tragic events at the Boston Marathon, the most recent reports are that at least three people were killed and over 170 people treated for injuries after two pressure-cooker bomb blasts at the finish line.
The FBI has now taken over the investigation and President Barack Obama said officials do not yet know whether the bombs were the work of a terrorist group or “a malevolent individual.” There is not currently anyone in custody in connection with the attacks.
Officials across the U.S. are on heightened security, as is the UK in preparation for the London Marathon scheduled for this Sunday.
In Preparation:
• Always be aware of your surroundings, especially when in large crowds. Take note of where emergency exits and staircases are located, and any fire extinguishers or safety equipment
